Vera and Tereza have been teaching basic and advanced hippotherapy courses both in the CR and abroad. They published the book Hippotherapy in 2018.

Vera Lantelme-Faisan, MSc.
Physiotherapist

Vera has extensive experience in paediatric rehabilitation (since 1999) and has completed several specialized courses – Hippotherapy (CEFTA and AHA), Vojta method, CranioSacral Therapy, etc. She focuses on hippotherapy services for children from 3 months of age with a wide range of diagnoses.

She served on the Czech Equine Facilitated Therapy Association (CEFTA) board as a president in 2013-2021. Since 2004, she has taught basic and advanced hippotherapy courses both in the Czech Republic and abroad.

From 2022, she runs an organisation dedicated to education, consultation and guidelines in Equine Assisted Services.

In 2004-2009, she assisted in founding a hippotherapy centre and conducted certified hippotherapy courses in the rehabilitation hospital in Saudi Arabia.

 

In 2019, she established and became a coordinator of the European Equine Facilitated Therapy Network (EEFTN) governed by HETI.

Vera is co-author of several publications: Hippotherapy (2018), Therapy Horse Certification System (2018) and Zooterapie v kostce (2020), Historie hiporehabilitace a ČHS (2021).

She is a licenced physiotherapist in the Czech Republic and Great Britain, and she is a listed therapist under the American Hippotherapy Association (AHA).

Since 2021, she has become a member of the Federation of Horses in Education and Therapy International (HETI) Executive Committee.

Tereza Honcu, MSc.
Physiotherapist

Tereza studied physiotherapy at the Second Faculty of Medicine Charles University in Prague. In her thesis, she demonstrated the effect of intensive hippotherapy for children with central nervous system disorders. She has 18 years experience in hippotherapy in early intervention for children with various health problems. Since 2008, she has been working as a head physiotherapist in EAAT centre Caballinus.

Tereza completed several courses - Hippotherapy, Vojta method, Active segmental centration, Visceral 

therapy and Trigger points therapy. She has extensive experience in paediatrics.

Tereza is often providing lectures to professionals. She leads practical trainings for college students of the Second Faculty of Medicine Charles University, future specialists animal-assisted therapies at the Czech University of Life Sciences and at the Faculty of Health Studies at The University of J. E. Purkyně. She is also a lecturer of the hippotherapy course in the Czech Equine Facilitated Therapy Association (CEFTA).  

Tereza is an excellent horse rider.

Anna Radová, Bc.
Physiotherapist

Anna is a physiotherapist and lecturer with a specialization in Equine Facilitated Physical Therapy (EFPT).

From 2012 has been working as a physiotherapist for the Czech non-profit organization Caballinus, which specializes in Equine Facilitated Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy in children. Her clients are primarily children with cerebral palsy, psychomotor developmental delay, Down syndrome and other congenital developmental disabilities. She focuses on EFPT for infants from 3 months of age. 

Since 2017, Anna has also worked as a Czech Equine Facilitated Therapy Association (CEFTA) lecturer in courses for Czech and foreign therapists. She leads practical training (internships) for students and physiotherapists in the Czech and English languages.
